Own Your Roots
The real estate arm
The Constellation's real estate arm. WITĖ invests in income-producing property and community development, and puts that income to work building housing, opportunity, and long-term strength for the community. Current work includes Dream Hills, a planned neighborhood of 108 homes — the first development of its kind for our community.

Funding the Future
The CDFI in formation
Extends the foundation with financial access, education, and tools that open the door to opportunity. An Indigenous Community Development Financial Institution in formation under the Constellation's governance. Microloans and community lending products will be available soon.

A Founding Vision
The vision that became WITĖ.
The idea now carried by WITĖ Development LLC was first written into the corporation’s Seventh Generation plan — a vision for innovation, technology, and expansion at Standing Rock: a Lakȟóta-Dakȟóta immersion school, homes for our families, and green energy that shows the world how to live with Mother Earth once again. That founding vision has matured into today’s real estate arm.
The Honest Why
Why We Built the Constellation
Outside businesses and developers rarely come to the reservation. Construction is hard and expensive to bring in from far away. Funding faces structural barriers our families know well — trust land cannot be used as conventional collateral, and there is no bank on Standing Rock.
So we stopped waiting, and we built our own: our own development engine, our own real estate capacity, and our own community lender in formation. Three institutions, each doing work our Nation has never had done from within — moving as one.
How it flows
Cultural identity (Seven Stones) → financial access (Witaya) → real ownership (WITĖ). Revenue earned by WITĖ and Witaya returns through Seven Stones governance and is reinvested into community programs — youth, food, language, and housing. That is how sovereignty gets financed: three organizations, distinct in their offerings, unified in their purpose.
